In the early 1990's, Dr Ralph Wileman was searching for the perfect farmhouse to restore when he encountered the Dunn Hill Farm. He loved the location and the site lines of the property. There were and still are many out buildings on the property including an old slave cabin on which Dr. Wileman has done some restoration.

Though some were skeptical, Ralph could see the possibilities of restoring the main house. He set about having the structural worthiness of the main house verified. Once that verification gave him the green light he began the planning and designing of a both practical and aesthetically pleasing historical restoration.
